In the Dead of Winter Music Festival has quickly become of Nova’s Scotia premier music events. Held annually in February, the festival highlights some of the Atlantic region’s, Canada’s, and North America’s pre-eminent singer songwriters and emerging acoustic performers.

The festival generally engages solo, duos and small groups.  Performances include songwriters circles, mainstage showcases, and signature concerts.  All performances are paid on a standard scale depending on the type of performance (circle, mainstage, concert).  However, it is quite unlikely that the festival will pay for successful applicants travel or accommodation.
